She asked and we delivered!

Maigh asked for it and 4 iDiots rose to the challenge.

The main iDiot! Shortly after this he tried to show us his 'pose' to signify the fight against testicular cancer. Needless to say, it wasn't pretty and got us kicked out of the bar.

Out of the cellar...

It's official, injection #2 is a success in relieving the bludging disk pain and my standard back pain is there, but the chiro can and will be fixing that later this week. So yee haw childrens! Daylight savings is this weekend, the tuesday nighters and weeknight crits start up, and I'm gunning to be hitting on all 8 by Tour de Looseranna.

On a down note, T-roy (or whale call) crashed on a training ride and has a grade 3 separated shoulder. It's a real bummer b/c he's be finding some good form and is poised for some big rides. Get better my man and we'll school dem cajun bois in July. This is sort of what it looked like...

For the half asians...

AND....

"I didn't do it. It was that cry baby Mcartney."

Injection #2 and no, it's not what your thinking iDiot!

Today was the tipping point, I got my second steroid injection in my L5 on both nerves (each leg).

This is the one that "if" this approach will provide me any relief, it will happen in the next 2-3 days. Injection #1 rarely provides any relief, but I was prepared for instant and complete relief. I was a bit disappointed when it didn't happen. So I am cautiously optimistic this time and will ride easy tomorrow to give it a test run. Sat out at the 'race' will be the test. Will I be back or fitness limited? I've also heard this is the latest training technique from Lone Star Works.

How far I have fallen....

This weekend I've signed up for the Rosedale ride, while this is not unusual since I normally do this charity ride my mindset surely is not normal. My fitness and training is pretty low, lets say maybe a 1 out of 10 and my back is still way outta whack... so the downward sprial just keeps on spinning down. So I'm focusing on not getting dropped and using this as my step up and get out of the fitness celler. Prety sad, but that's just where I'm at now.

But I can always pass my time just sitting back and watching Elmo... he's a crazy gangsta n*****

Against my better judgment....

I raced my bike, or more accurate I paid an entry fee to ride my bike. Being able to ride 50 or 75 miles doesn't equate to racing them. It's pretty pathetic, but I was barely hanging on sitting at the start line. It'll get better, but it's hard to get your head around that getting dropped so quickly. My back was ok, not great but not to blame 100% (maybe 50% back).
